If anyone saw the fantastic tricycle in our window display, you'll be happy to know the whimsical art of Dave Barnes will have a new home at Hip Baby. There are more one-of-a-kind tricycles on the way as well as smaller wall art for the kids room. Never too soon getting kids to enjoy art and who know what great works it might inspire in the mind of your child.
By the way, the tric sold yesterday. Some lucky kid is now wheeling around on his/her custom tricycle. Pretty cool.

"Artistic approach involves the practice of transforming modern concept to reveal nostalgic mood, sometimes refered to as “Oldification”. Recycled elements, faded colours, layered/collaged backgrounds, and sand~papered imagery all play a part in this process, along with the use of bold observational line and memory dissolved Rockwellian imagery."
