You can really tell when designers making kids stuff either have kids themselves or share a child's unique sensibility. Merav Flam is one of those people. After graduating from art and design school in Jerusalem, she started Manuella, and creates characters that combine simplicity of design, well chosen materials and attention to detail. The result is lovable and irrestible characters that children can enjoy through the various stages of development. The cat, bunny and bear rattles (shown above) are a perfect example; made of cotton with a small bell inside them and machine washable.
