The Projecting Change Film Festival starts on Earth Day and is screening 15 important and provocative films from around the world focussed on environmental and sustainability issues. All films will be screened at the Fifth Avenue Cinemas. And there will be interactive discussions with filmmakers as well as industry people involved in bringing us a greener future. Check the website for info and film times.
My pick for family viewing would be the 10am screening of 'What's on your plate' on Saturday April 24th. Great way to start a dialogue with your kids about what we eat and how important our choices are to our health, our local economy and our environment.
And if you arrive with your bike helmet or bus pass you get $2 off admission! Smart.
