If you follow me on twitter, you'll know that I can't help talking about this guy named Joel from Portland who I'd like to nominate for the world's coolest art dad! I check his 'Made by Joel' blog almost daily. As someone who greatly values art but is not so crafty with his hands, I really appreciate his creativity and the work he puts into every project. The result is that he's not only teaching his kids about being creative and crafty but teaching them about beauty. And I'm personally convinced that the more we appreciate beauty in our lives, the better this world will be. So thank you Joel Henriques of Portland, Oregon, for the art that you make and share with the world. And be sure to check the archives!
