As alumni of the SVI (Social Venture Institute) conference at Hollyhock, Jen and I can attest to the incredible power of this event. SVI is a haven to established and not-so-established entrepreneurs trying to bring change to the way we do business by offering wisdom, support, humour, networking, and much more. To be completely frank, we would not be the business we are today without this event and the people we've met over the years. And now, inspired by SVI, Women Entrepreneurs for Social Change is happening right here in Vancouver May 13 and 14, 2011. This will be a great opportunity for "women from small and large organizations to explore their business challenges in an intimate and inspiring environment."
