Our new Spring 2009 line from Fig has arrived at Hip Baby and it's fabulous! I have been designing Fig for 3 years now and I have to say that Spring 09 is my greatest accomplishment to date. At Fig we choose unique colours to dye our fabric which we then manufacture from organically grown cotton (with just enough lycra in it to ensure great fabric memory, which translates to a longer lasting garment) .
The sleepers, for newborns to 18 months, are by far our biggest seller. They are really easy to get on and off your young ones with a full length zipper down the front. The fabric is soft and breathable with enough stretch for ease of movement.
As always my graphics tend to lean towards a 70s feel as that is when I grew up. I combine these memories with a modern influence to create something that both the child and parent can enjoy. Above is my ode to the cassette tape. Strangely most kids these days will not even know what they are.
