I had no idea what a quokka was until I opened Matthew Porter's ABC book. It's one of the coolest ways to teach your kids about the alphabet. All the animals appear to be painted on wooden blocks like days of old but painted in a style that gives them just the right mix of modern and vintage. Bright contrasty colours + cute animals + learning = fun.
By the way, i've discovered that a quokka is a marsupial from Australia about the size of a cat, kinda cute. I told you, cute animals + learning = fun.
