Kids, silly sunglasses, great music, sunshine, bicycles, friends, hoolahoops, more kids, and the list goes on. The Boogie Woogie BBQ in the park during the Commercial Drive Car-Free day was a huge success; in no small part due to the efforts of Mr. Community Builder himself, Kerry Uchida. It was a pleasure to see kids of all ages have that much fun. Even some police officers came by and smiled! Let's continue to show the city of Vancouver that responsible family fun doesn't need to be licensed and regulated, it simply has to be allowed to happen.
